We have several seasonal positions available, not only for guiding, but for out door instructors, ground maintenance, junior instructors, guides, cooks and helpers. If interested please send us an email or forward a resume’ to info@maineguide.org. No experience required for some positions-just a

REGISTERED MAINE GUIDES
We are looking for licensed registered Maine Guide to guide clients for Bear, Bass Fishing and Wilderness Canoe Trips. Hunting area includes part of Penobscot and Hancock Counties. River trips are on the Machias, Union and St. Croix. Please send a cover letter outlining your experience in guiding, cooking skills, first aid training and any other abilities you possess. Maine drivers license and proper guide license required. All positions are contracted on-call positions with proper gear supplied. Daily contracted rates range from $75 to $150.

LABOR POSITIONS
We are looking to fill various seasonal positions that include ground maintenance, running errands, stocking, chores relating to guiding and baiting, readying equipment for trips and other duties related to the guide and outdoor school program. Housing maybe supplied. This is a great position for youth and will train the right person to become an instructor or camp leader. Must be hard working, self motivated, Maine drivers license is required for some positions.

INSTRUCTORS
These are contracted seasonal positions at Maine Outdoor School, geared to youth ages 15-17. We are looking for various out door instructors for map and compass, teaching canoe skills, out door cooking, survival, CPR, Basic First Aid, wildlife and plant ID, tracking, and other related fields. Please send letter outlining experience and certifications. Position requires honest, hardworking, self motivated person; a background check will be required.

CAMP LEADER
This position oversees general daily management of youth attending the Maine Outdoor School and requires the leader to reside in the bunkhouse with youth to provide supervision. A seasonal position from June to August. Will also be assisting in teaching, maintenance and supervision on overnight canoe trips. Please send letter-outlining experience, position requires honest, an individual who needs limited supervision, is self-motivated and hardworking.
